Upper East Side

Welcome to Upper East Side

Quaint, tree-lined neighborhood — featuring historic architecture, UW-Milwaukee, and the lakefront

Refined and peaceful, Milwaukee’s Upper East Side is a charming place to call home. Lined with towering trees and Edwardian and Tudor-style properties, this compact neighborhood is nestled near several important spots. Residents live steps from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee campus, Lake Park, casual eateries, and Riverside Park.

The bulk of the neighborhood features homes that are stately and historic. Especially considering that the community borders a college campus, roads are surprisingly quiet and undisturbed. Buyers seeking a high-end property can find what they desire on Lake Drive — which is well-known for its luxurious dwellings.

Known for its eclectic vintage vibe, Landmark's Downer Theatre is a wonderful spot to catch independent and foreign films. Another top indoor venue is The Miramar Theatre. Acclaimed for its laid-back environment and live music performances, people of all ages love attending events here.

Prefer spending time outside? Situated between Lake Drive and Lincoln Memorial Drive, unwind at Lake Park. As its name suggests, this park is located directly on Lake Michigan and offers stunning waterfront views.
